MO trip

So, almost a month ago now, the kids and I took a trip to MO to see my family and some friends.  We had a GREAT time!  Here are a few pics from our visit.

Josiah took flying seriously.  He made sure he was buckled when he was supposed to be, watched carefully out the window waiting for take off, adjusted the air flow above him, and absolutely loved being above the clouds.

Bella, on the other hand, was not a fan of her seat belt, (it did pretty much dwarf her!).  She also loved looking out the window at the clouds, and spent most of the flight in my lap...too bad she is now too old to pass as a lap child.

It was so great to see so many friends from college all at once!  Thanks Matthew and Shannon for letting us stay with you!

My parents took us to the Neosho fishery.  While Bella was content to throw food to the fish, Josiah was determined to catch a fish by hand.  While he was not successful, he totally loved the challenge.

Josiah was all about playing in the river.  We started out just getting our feet wet, but before too long Josiah had fallen in, was completely soaked and couldn't have been happier about it!

Cherished getting to spend a whole day with Scott

While looking for worms, Uncle Scott and Josiah uncovered a rather "worm."  We didn't know what kind it was, but after it struck at us several times, we decided to introduce it to Papa's shovel.



The kids LOVED spending time with Uncle Scott.



We got to spend most of Sunday with Uncle Tom.  Bella was in an especially giggly mood this day. :)

Josiah is our animal lover.  Thanks you, Theresa, for being so patient and allowing him to hold and feed your animals!  (Oh, and thank you also for the sprinkles!)
