Just the boy and me

So, normally Connie is the one who does these blogs but this weekend Connie isn't home. She is New York for a couple of days with our friend Anne and Anne's mom. She left Friday morning and will return Tuesday afternoon. That means that it is just Josiah and me for a couple of days. I am starting to get the hang of the single parent thing, but I must admit it's a ton harder without Connie around. This morning it took me almost an hour and a half to get Josiah up, fed, cleaned up, dressed, and out the door for church.

I must say though that it has been nice to have some time where it's just the two us. Here are some pictures of the time the two of us have had together.

Things got alittle messy with the strawberries. Josiah liked squeezing them and getting the juice everywhere. I don't think I am quite as tidy as Connie is when feeding Josiah.

Here's a picture of the little man working on his wagon. He is getting more and more expressive with the noises he makes while playing. He is such a little boy.

Be praying for us. Tomorrow morning Josiah is going to work with me. He will be going to preschool at the church for the morning. The ladies who work there are pretty excited about it. But we will see how our one year old will hold up.
