We spent our Thanksgiving day with Adam's family. We had a great time, and it was nice to have everyone together (minus the Alaskan Browns - you were missed!). We had planned to spend a couple of days visiting with my parents; however, they had to reschedule for next weekend. I hope you all are enjoying your holiday weekend. Here are a few pictures of some of the people we are so very thankful for.
On the way to Adam's grandparents, we got stopped behind a pretty bad accident. We ended up sitting on the "highway" for over an hour. Though frustrating and inconvenient, we prayed for the victims and were incredibly thankful that we were a couple of hours late instead of on our way to the hospital.
Josiah thought that the turkey fryer made a good drum.
As the Brown tradition goes, Josiah opened the first Christmas present of the year - a beautiful ornament for our tree. Thank you, Gammie and Pops.
We spent many hours entertained by the competition of Wii bowling and tennis. Let's just say that I'm embarrassed at how sore my right arm is - nothing like a video game to discover some new muscles!

Continuing the family tradition, we shook the pecan trees and gathered the tasty nuts.
Josiah was on rake duty, but he was also keeping an eye on his Daddy who was really high in the tree.

Once again, we were delighted to have the gift of time with you. Pops and I mentioned several times yesterday what a fun age Josiah is, how much he is growing and jabbering, and how much more he will change in the coming weeks before we see you again at Christmas.

What a fun Thanksgiving!!! Glad ya'll got to spend time with fam. Josiah is so precious and looks like he's the life of the party!!! ...Is he ready to be a big brother?!!?
